The Local News

The Local News covers the suburbs along Oxley Road, from Oxley, Sherwood, Corinda, Chelmer,
Graceville, Tennyson, and over the bridge to Indooroopilly.  Since being introduced into the community
in 1997, The Local News has come into its own. Delivered free to over 11,500 homes and businesses each month, The Local News enjoys support from many community groups and clubs, who rely on the publication to communicate with the wider community as well as club members.

Local News Publications, through The Local News, has proudly been a major sponsor of the annual
Sherwood Festival for over eight years.

If you would like to advertise, we have sizes and prices to accommodate all budgets. If you choose
to also advertise in one or more of the sister publications –  Centenary News, The Lake News or
The Greater Springfield Times, discounts are available, with a substantialdiscount for advertising in all four publications.
